Hello everyone! 

I’m Molly & I am 11 years old.  My mom has taken me to volunteer since I was was really little.  A couple of years ago, I helped with a cleanup at the lake.  We do lots of community service in Girl Scouts.  And once, I heard on the radio that they were raising money for a charity called Pat’s Kids.  They said that they needed $100 per kid.  I didn’t have that much money so we came up with the idea to ask friends to bring money instead of gifts to my birthday party.  I have done that for 5 years now.  I love volunteering!

The Molly’s Helping Hand website comes from an idea that I had a little while ago.  I hope that it inspires other kids (and adults) to help other people.  My goal is to complete at least one project every month.  I don’t know what all of them will be but I have some ideas already planned out.  I will write about each project as I am completing it.  I will tell about the things I have to do, any problems that I have, and finally what happens when I am finished.  I hope you enjoy the adventure as much as I will!
